Character Discovery: boy pirate

Since I have been enjoying digital watercolor I have decided to continue to pursue the medium.  I also have been adapting and changing the style as I study various artists blogs that I follow. As I try to understand technique and vision, it has been a joy to replicate some of these images.  Enjoy
