Cosette

Hey friends, say hello to our new baby girl Cosette Rapsey Jackson. She is simply the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. As someone who studies beauty and art, I am blown away by how amazing she is. This should explain my absence from the blog this summer. I also worked for Harper Collins the last few months. More to come on that topic very soon.

Cosette was born on the 15th of September. My wife Christina did a brilliant job, and I am so proud of her. Over the past month I have done little but stare into my little girl’s impeccable eyes. She has these eyes that immediately capture anyone who ventures to gaze into her bright blue gems.   A few weeks ago I had to spend the first night away from her due to men’s retreat at church. I raced home to see my girl, but upon my arrival I found that both Christina and Cosette had left to go visit my sister-in-law’s new baby boy. Thus, I was shattered by not being reunited with my girl that I responded in the best way I knew how. To paint. I painted this little picture of her because when I close my eyes and think of her, this is what I see.
