Last summer I had another “highlight” in my career with the opportunity to work with Highlights Magazine. I have very fond memories of reading this magazine as a child and I couldn’t be happier to work with them on this project. This was a World War 2 historic piece with special attention to attire and style. The most difficult aspect of this piece was my evolving style. Highlights desired my watercolor/digital style, which over the past few years I have moved away from to favor a digital approach. We had quite a bit of back and forth to get the desired feel, but I believe we got there in the end. Thanks Highlights!
