Once again I had the opportunity to work with Snap Learning on a small book. This story is about Connor and he likes to play soccer. The particular challenge with this project was drawing the same character in sequence. This sequence drawing is quite the stretch for me, and I feel like it was a great exercise in learning this particular skill set. Drawing is a never-ending battle of learning something new. If it wasn’t for client work, I would most certainly be stuck in some sort of rut drawing the same thing over and over. Commissioned illustrations push me to draw things I wouldn’t normally be working on. This of course expands my arsenal of what I can draw, and allows me to have a rounder skill set.
