Over the past year my son Avery has mentioned that I should illustrate our family portrait. Most people have their family portraits taken with a camera. I think it is only right that I draw ours.
My Mom make Avery the most amazing wizard costume for Avery to wear on our trip to the Renaissance Festival this past weekend. Avery had gone back and forth about being a fairy, knight, or a wizard for the illustration. I think the costume sealed the deal. Here is the initial character designs for myself and Avery.
